Trying for a baby for months or years, through tests, scans and hope that keeps getting tested, takes more out of you than anyone outside it can see. If you've decided to come to Thailand for IVF, you deserve to know that the team and the laboratory you trust with your eggs and embryos are among the best you could find anywhere.
Thailand, and Bangkok above all, has some of the most advanced fertility clinics in Asia, with internationally accredited laboratories, time-lapse embryo incubators and genetic testing of embryos (PGT-A) done in-house. These are the best IVF clinics in Thailand in 2026: who leads each one, what its lab can do, which treatments it offers, from IVF to ICSI, and how to get started before you book a flight.
How I rank IVF clinics in Thailand
I've spent over ten years coordinating international patients through Bangkok hospitals, and the questions that matter here are the same ones that matter in surgery: who looks after you, how good the setting is and how straight the answers are. For IVF the setting is the laboratory, so this list ranks first on outside accreditation of the clinic and its lab (JCI, RTAC from Australia and New Zealand, ISO), then on the specialists who lead it, the lab's technology (time-lapse incubators, in-house PGT), and how it looks after people flying in.
Every fact comes from each clinic's own information, checked 12 October 2026, with sources on its profile. No clinic pays to be listed or to move up.

Jetanin is where much of Thai IVF began. Founded in 1995 by Pol.Gen.Dr. Jongjate Aojanepong, its team pioneered sperm retrieval with ICSI for men with no sperm in the ejaculate in 1996, and today it is accredited by both JCI and RTAC, the first IVF clinic in South East Asia to hold both, it says. Every embryo grows in an EmbryoScope time-lapse incubator in its own ISO-certified lab, and every step is double-witnessed, so you never have to wonder whose embryo is being transferred. It starts with a free consultation, where its counsellors talk you through treatment, costs and success rates before you commit to anything.

How to plan IVF in Thailand
-
1
Bring your marriage certificate
Thai law limits IVF to married couples, and clinics will ask to see your marriage certificate, translated if it isn't in English or Thai. A law to open IVF to all married spouses, including same-sex couples, was out for public consultation in 2026 but had not passed when I checked, so ask the clinic where it stands before you plan.
-
2
Get your tests done at home first
Most clinics will want recent results for both of you before you fly: an ovarian reserve test (AMH and a scan), a semen analysis and the usual blood screens. Send them ahead with your first enquiry and the answers you get back will be far more useful.
-
3
Write to two or three clinics with the same details
Jetanin offers a free consultation, SAFE a free online one and Beyond IVF a free call with a nurse. Give each clinic the same history, ages and results, and ask the same questions, so the answers are easy to compare.
-
4
Plan your time in Thailand
A full cycle with a fresh transfer usually means three to four weeks in Bangkok. If you freeze all your embryos, for example to test them first, plan on around two weeks for stimulation and egg retrieval, then a shorter return trip for the frozen embryo transfer. Genea's Half and Half package lets you do the stimulation at home.
-
5
Get the quote in writing, and check what it includes
Packages vary in what they cover: medication, genetic testing, freezing and storage, and whether a transfer is included. Get the plan, the full quote and your doctor's name confirmed in writing before you pay or fly.
This page is information, not medical advice: the doctor who examines you and your results is the one to decide which treatment suits you.
IVF in Thailand: common questions
Which IVF clinics in Thailand are JCI accredited?
Jetanin, Prime Fertility Clinic, Bangkok Hospital and Bumrungrad International Hospital on this list are JCI accredited. Jetanin and Prime hold it as fertility clinics; at Bangkok Hospital and Bumrungrad it covers the whole hospital.
Which IVF clinics in Thailand are RTAC accredited?
Jetanin, SAFE Fertility Group and Chiang Mai IVF on this list are accredited by RTAC, the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee of Australia and New Zealand. SAFE was the first in Thailand, and Jetanin holds RTAC and JCI together.
Can foreigners have IVF in Thailand?
Yes, if you are married. Thai law limits IVF to married couples, whatever their nationality, so bring your marriage certificate. Surrogacy is not open to foreign couples.
Can I choose the sex of my baby with IVF in Thailand?
No, not for non-medical reasons. Genetic testing of embryos is used to find chromosomal problems and inherited diseases, and choosing an embryo's sex for family balancing is not permitted.
How long do I need to stay in Thailand for IVF?
About three to four weeks for a cycle with a fresh transfer. If you freeze your embryos, around two weeks for stimulation and egg retrieval, then a shorter trip back for the transfer. Your clinic will confirm the timing for your protocol.
How are these IVF clinics ranked?
On outside accreditation of the clinic and its lab, the specialists who lead it, the lab's technology and how it looks after international patients, from over ten years of coordinating patients through Bangkok hospitals. Every fact is checked against each clinic's own information. No clinic pays to be listed or to move up.
